Entertainment
Enjoy live theatrical performances at The Shawnee Playhouse, a professional Broadway-style theater that has entertained audiences since 1929. Performances run year-round and both matinée, evening, and season tickets are available. Visit the Shawnee Playhouse website for performances and times.
If you prefer an evening of live music, the Community Summer/Winter Concert Series performed every Tuesday evening either at The Shawnee Inn or in front of the beautiful River Sanctuary. Admission is free.
Sam Snead’s Tavern, located next to the Shawnee General Store and Tillinghast Golf Academy, features local bands Thursday - Saturday evenings playing in a lively pub setting. View the full list of live entertainment at Sam Snead’s.
Dine “al fresco” while enjoying live acoustic Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the summer. Open May - September (weather permitting). The Bistro is located on the flagstone patio just outside the Golf Shop overlooking nine blue.
